Special Weather Products: Hurricane Cancellation

Hurricane cancellation insurance product is focused on helping hotels attract conferences and conventions during the hurricane season. The product can also be focused on events and festivals that have been planned that only span a few days that is prone to be canceled or put off due to a hurricane. The policy-part of the StormTracker^SM suite of innovative weather insurance products will pay a pre-determined value to cover the fixed costs incurred in planning a conference or event that is cancelled plus the incremental cost to rebook the event at a later date. Coverage will be triggered if a hurricane comes within one hundred miles of the conference or event location during the term of the policy. The insurance policy will pay 100% of the agreed value if the conference or event is cancelled prior to the commencement date of the conference or event and 50% of the agree value thereafter.

Any business located in the United States and the Caribbean Islands that are subject to hurricane related losses. Specific application include, resort, hotels or organizations that hold and plan conferences, conventions and events.
